You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Life can feel heavy, whether it’s anxiety, grief, family stress, or the weight of raising a teenager who won’t open up.
Whatever brought you here, it matters. And by seeking support, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step toward change.
I’m Kate, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist based in Ellisville, Missouri. I work with adults and teenagers, offering both in-person and telehealth appointments so you can access support in a way that fits your life.
My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all. I listen, but I also engage. I offer honest feedback, practical tools, and a real conversation rather than clinical jargon. Many of my clients tell me they leave a session thinking, “I never thought of it that way.”

“My son Tyler has been seeing Kate for a few months now. She is wonderful with him, and he LOVES going. He had been seeing another therapist and hated it — he refused to talk or cooperate. After seeing Kate the first time, he asked, ‘When am I going back? I want to go every day I don’t have soccer!’ Kate has given him, and us as parents, real tools for improvement. He has ADHD with impulsiveness, anxiety, and sensory issues.”
